What is the best book/set to learn Spanish?
I want something that really works, I find it hard to remember vocabulary. I want something for a complete begginer, and covers a lot of material, what has worked for you?
Ryan,
there are so many sets and books.
My first advise, and no offense mean here,
is avoid anything from Spain -- they complicate
the Spanish language way too much, and they
speak with a very unpleasant accent.
So, Colombians, Bolivians, Venezuelans,
Argentinians, in that order, have a clearer
use of the language.
Then, start by reading children“s book -- yes,
children“s book. Combine this with watching
Spanish Speaking TV such as Warner Bros,
cartoons etc, as well as the news, and you will
be amazed at how fast you begin to understand
the FLOW. From then on, you get into the heavy
stuff -- but it will already be in you. Try it, you've
got nothing to loose, y todo que ganar!
Mucha Suerte!
